CHESHIRE firefighters were called out to a farmland fire in a village between Whitchurch and Chester on Friday night.
Two crews were called out at around 11pm following reports of a large fire in the village, which is also close to Wrexham.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Firefighters extinguished a large bonfire in Farndon woodland."
