POLICE have revealed where in Wrexham speed monitoring took place in recent days.
Officers conducted speed checks on the A495 in Bronington and the B5069 near the Bangor-on-Dee racecourse.
PCSO Dean Sawyer said: "Local residents have raised concerns about speeding on the B5069 near the Bangor on Dee racecourse.
"As a result yesterday (Friday) I conducted speed monitoring in the area, 38 vehicles were checked and five were found to have exceeded the 30mph limit. The drivers were warned.
"Please can you watch your speed in this area.

"Go Safe are aware of this location and will be attending with speed camera van."
He added: "Residents have reported speeding at the bend on the A495 at Bronington.
"So yesterday I conducted speed checks at the location. Pleased to say I recorded over 90 vehicles' speed with none going over the 40mph limit.
"I will however still keep a close eye on the location over the coming months."
