OVER £2,800 was raised for a Wrexham-based hospice at a garden party near Whitchurch.
The Nightingale House Hospice Hanmer Fundraising Group recently organised a garden party which was held in Wolvesacre Hall just on the border between England and Wales to raise money for Nightingale House.
Nightingale House corporate partnership lead, Sarah Povey came and explained about the work the hospice does.

An event spokesperson said: "The Nightingale House Hospice Hanmer Fundraising Group recently organised an evening Garden Party at Wolvesacre Hall, Iscoyd by kind invitation of John and Michelle Clark. "Over £2,800 was raised to aid the important work of Nightingale House Hospice.

"Sarah Povey from the hospice, which is based in Wrexham, came and spoke about the amazing work that they do to support the well-being of patients and their families at difficult times of their lives.
"The cost of running the hospice is huge and it was wonderful to see over 120 people attending this event."
