WHITCHURCH Little Theatre has announced it will be back on tour next month as it will be putting on three performances.

The group will put on a trio of short comedies in The Talbot Theatre in Whitchurch Leisure Centre, on Monday, June 19; Tilstock Village Hall on Tuesday, June 20; and then Marbury Village Hall on Wednesday, June 21.

The group will round off in Market Drayton on Thursday, June 22.

A group spokesperson said: "The evening of light-hearted entertainment will include 'The New Neighbours' by Rachel Morgan.

"A serial killer is on the loose in the village and nosy neighbours Elizabeth and Margaret investigate.

"It will then be followed by 'All By Themselves' by Robert Scott which is a follow-up to the daft and funny play 'All By Myself' previously performed by the group.

"Larry is still stuck on a desert island having given up the chance to escape.

"Following the interval they will perform 'Changing Rooms' by Jackie Carreira.

"A bride-to-be is trying to choose her wedding gown under the watchful eye of her future mother-in-law, another customer wants jeans that fit and a boyfriend is not giving the support his girlfriend thinks he should.

"Fortunately, the shop assistant is always on hand to offer some very pointed advice.

"About 12 actors will be taking on the roles in these plays with a couple making their debuts with the group.

"All shows start at 7.30 pm and tickets can be bought on the door.
