A barrier on a level crossing near Whitchurch is working normally, Network Rail has confirmed.
The crossing on Station Road in Prees was stuck in the down position on Thursday, May 11.

West Mercia Police advised motorists to avoid the area.
A spokesperson said: "Prees level crossing is stuck in the down position in Station Road. Please avoid the area."
Network Rail apologised for the disruption caused and confirmed its engineers were at the scene.

They later confirmed the barrier is now working.
A spokesperson added: "The barrier is now in normal working order, and our technical engineers will remain on site and will continue to monitor the crossing for 24-hours.
“We apologise for any disruption this may have caused and thank the local community for their patience.”
