CALLING all 'Dancing Queens' it's time to say 'Thank You for the Music' as one North Shropshire college reopens its doors for a sing-a-long film evening.

Ellesmere College Arts Centre - which closed its doors when the Covid-19 pandemic struck - is preparing to reopen them once more for Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and and evening which will celebrate all things Greek.

The event on Friday, May 19, from 7pm, will include a two-course Greek supper, plus a screening of the popular film based on hits by ABBA.

There will also be a bar, a raffle, and a prize for the best-dressed guest, although fancy dress is optional.

Organiser, Anne Wignall, said: "Tickets have been selling rapidly so if you would like to come along, buy your tickets now.

“If it's anything like our pre-Covid sing-a-longs, it should be a great evening.”

The event is raising funds for Age UK North Shropshire Supporters and the Food and Warm Clothes Sharing Project.
