SOME services in Wales and north Shropshire have been cancelled on Easter Sunday, Transport for Wales has confirmed.
In mid Wales, services to and from Machynlleth have been affected by staffing issues, with the 3.33pm Pwllheli to Mach service cancelled.
Two return journeys from Mach to Pwllheli, at 4.50pm and 6.55pm respectively, will also be cancelled because of a shortage of a train crew.
The cancelled services are part of 31 cancellations across Transport for Wales’s services on Easter Sunday.
Also included is the 8.30pm Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central service which calls at Wrenbury, Whitchurch, Prees and Wem between 9.20pm and 10.41pm.
According to JourneyCheck.com, anyone affected by the cancellations can contact Transport for Wales for compensation at www.tfwrail.wales for more information.
A rail replacement bus service is expected to be in place.
