A CHIMNEY fire at an Ellesmere pub led to firefighters in the town being called out on Monday afternoon.
One crew from Ellesmere was sent to the Market Hotel in Scotland Street shortly after 4.30pm on Monday, February 13 after a report of a chimney fire.
Firefighters used chimney rods and a stirrup pump to tackle the fire,
A stop message was sent to Shropshire Fire and Rescue control shortly after 5pm to confirm no further assistance was required.
