THE countdown is on to the return of the Whitchurch 10k.
Organisers have confirmed the popular event will be returning this spring.
The race will start and end at Sir John Talbot's School in Tilstock Road on Sunday, April 2 at 10am.
Last year, 600 runners took part in the race.
The route will take runners through the town and country parks before returning the finishing point in the school.
A spokesperson for the event said: "What better way to start the year positively than by entering the annual Sir John Talbot's School Whitchurch 10K Road Race which takes place on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
"This is an amazing way see the lovely town of Whitchurch, where you’ll experience the sights and sounds of the countryside, run through our local park, before heading back to the school to claim our newly designed medal and T-shirt.
"What are you waiting for?"
