A POPULAR concert is set to make a return to Ellesmere next month, with a timely theme of ‘Together Again’.

The Midwinter Concert will be at Ellesmere College on Saturday, February 4 following a three-year break.

The concert, which starts at 7.30pm in the school’s main building, features the choirs and soloists of Ellesmere College and will be by the Porthywaen Silver Band.

The audience can look forward to a programme that includes music from the Beatles, a Fantasia on British Sea Songs and an Oliver Medley – with audience participation.

Upon arrival and during the interval, the College organist, Kevin Whitley, will play a variety of music on the mighty Schulze organ.
