A YELLOW warning for rain has been issued for parts of England and Wales.

The Met Office has issued the warning for throughout Thursday - with heavy rain forecast throughout the day - from midnight up until midnight on Friday.

The warning extends across areas including Tilston and Cholmondely, and skims Shocklach, No Man's Heath and Wrenbury.

The Met Office is warning people to expect:

  • A small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings
  • Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures
  • Should flooding occur, delays or cancellations to train and bus services are likely
  • There is a small chance that some communities may be temporarily cut off by flooded roads
