AN INTERNET service provider has announced it is making funding available for community groups delivering environmental projects in Whitchurch.
Freedom Fibre opened its new' Freedom Fund' on Monday, October 31 and non-profit groups delivering projects in the town will be able to apply for up to £250 worth of grants each.
The fund will close on Friday, December 16 and there will be a second round of funding in 2023.
Neil MacArthur, the chief executive of Freedom Fibre, said the fund will be supporting projects in Whitchurch over the next few years.
He added: "The Freedom Fund is set to support dozens of good and green causes across Whitchurch over the next few years.
"I'm really excited to see what applications we receive."
Freedom Fibre is currently rolling out its network to homes in and around Whitchurch.
