CARE home staff and residents in Malpas were given a 'pizza the action' this week, with a free surprise.

Pizza Peddlers from the village surprised the team at Prospect House with free, freshly-cooked pizzas.

John Hogan, the owner of the catering firm, parked his van outside the care home in the High Street, and cooked fresh pizzas for staff and residents.

Sarah Stroud, the manager of Prospect House, said it was a complete surprise.
