FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a bullock from a brook in Whitchurch on Friday (October 7) evening.
The animal rescue in Whixall happened just after 6pm.
Crews from Whitchurch, Prees, Ellesmere and Wellington, including the incident support unit and rescue tender were called.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Bullock stuck in brook. Self-extricated prior to fire service arrival. No equipment in use."
The stop message to say no further crews were needed, came in just after 6.30pm.
