She explained: "I have raised nearly £1,000. I am really pleased about that.

"I did feel there was a bit more pressure because I was raising money.

"Originally I put £250 in my thanksgiving page. I upped it to £350 and I have doubled that now which is amazing.

"I have been to see Claire Glover who runs the Wem Food Hub and she was just really pleased.

"She said it will make such a difference to peoples' lives."

Selina has competed in a number of marathons and felt the London event was the best one she'd competed in.

She added: "Because I have qualified for a good for age time, I have applied to compete next year.

"I would do a marathon again, but for me London was the best. I would do it next week if I could.

"I cannot believe I actually did it. It was just so overwhelming, it was amazing to be part of it.

"I have watched it on the TV for years. I have always wanted to be there and finally I was in that sea of people running through the streets of London."
