Fire crews were called to reports of a fire at a home in Chester this morning (Thursday, August 18).
Two engines from Chester, together with an aerial ladder platform, arrived at the property in St John's Road in Handbridge at 10.40am today.
Using breathing apparatus they used a hose reel water jet to extinguish a fire contained to one room.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation and passed into the care of paramedics. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
