A MAN from Rhos-on-Sea has been ordered to pay in excess of £750 after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman.
Brian Lewis, 81, of Chatsworth Close, was accused of assaulting Diane Illingworth by beating her on Bay View Road, Colwyn Bay on February 13.
Lewis had pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on June 29.

On August 9, Lewis was fined £541, and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.
He is also to pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £54 victim surcharge.
This total of £780 is to be paid in full by September 6.
