Firefighters were called to the Whitby area of Ellesmere Port yesterday (August 17) after a patch of grassland was found to be on fire.
A fire engine arrived at Park Drive at 5.25pm, where an area of undergrowth and grass was burning.
The crew used a water back pack and beaters to extinguish the flames.
