POLICE patrols are continuing in a village which has been hit by anti-social behaviour (ASB).

North Wales Police have just recently been part of a campaign to highlight the issue during ASB Awareness Week.

The force says ASB was recently recognised as one of the top issues that mattered most to communities across the region.

Parts of Flintshire - such as Buckley and Holywell, for example, have been subjected to instances this year.

Now, police are turning their attention to Wrexham where Bangor-on-Dee has been the target for youths causing trouble.

NWP say they carried out patrols in the region just last night (Tuesday, July 26) following ASB reports.

They add that these patrols will be continuing as they look to tackle the issue.

A spokesperson for NWP's Wrexham Rural team said: "Patrols completed last night and will continue in the area after reports of youth ASB in the village."
