POLICE are investigating after lockers were broken into at during an event and horse riding accessories were stolen.

According to Cheshire Police, between 10.30am on Saturday, July 2 and 5.30am on Sunday, July 3 the suspects forced entry into the lockers at the Bolesworth Hill Road site and a quantity of horse saddlery was taken.

An investigation is underway and Detective Constable Paul Boneham has appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

He said: "These thefts occurred during a busy event with lots of people in and around the area.

"We have a number of enquiries underway and I would like to reassure the public that we are doing all we can to trace those responsible.

"As part of our enquiries, I would urge anyone in the area who may have seen something that didn’t look quite right, to come forward.

"The same goes to anyone who was driving in the area during the night and may have dashcam footage to please come forward.

"If anyone is offered any horse tack items, please be wary and if you have any suspicions, contact us and we will do the rest."
