FAMILIES from Whitchurch and surrounding areas are being encouraged to take advantage of savings being offered by a nearby outdoor theme park.

BeWILDerwood, in Cholmondeley, is offering online savings on advance bookings to families looking to manage their money and still have days out over the summer holidays this year.

Tom Blofeld, author and creator of the park, which has been running for more than a year, is hoping families can enjoy the fun on offer at the park, both young and old.

He said: "The story is what makes the woods at BeWILDerwood so enchanting but you have to really believe to see the Boggles and Twiggles.

"We encourage everyone big and small to use their imagination to its fullest whilst on your adventure.

"Simply escape the real world and enter the world of BeWILDerwood to enjoy some old-fashioned outdoor family fun.

"We hope this online summer saving will allow even more visitors to enjoy the magic of BeWILDerwood and create some lasting memories with us this summer.

"I was bored of going out for the day sitting on the side-lines and watching my children have all the fun, I wanted to get involved too – as that’s what family days out should be about.

"So, at BeWILDerwood we encourage grown-ups to let their inner child out and join in the fun.

"We often find the biggest whoops of joy come from the parents as they come down one of our many slippery slides, it’s great fun."

The offer is for online bookings only and can not be applied for tickets bought at the gate.
