SWIMMERS have been given the green light to return to the open water at a Whitchurch venue after tests returned giving it the all clear.
The water at Alderford Lake had been closed since around Friday, June 24 as a precaution following the discovery of the algae bloom through the business's regular testing.
However, a spokesman for the premises said it will be business as usual after tests returned normal levels for the water.
They said: "We have received our algae water tests results back and are now safe to reopen the lake.
"The water is dramatically clearer and is safe for lake users.
"All activities will now resume as normal.
"Thank you so much for our customers for your patience and support over this difficult period.
"We can't wait to see you all back using the lake."
