Firefighters have rescued a cow from a canal in Ellesmere in the early hours of the morning on Thursday, June 2.
Firefighters from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident in Ellesmere Road in Tetchill at 6.10am.
Our teams have assisted a cow in calf to a place of safety this morning in the Ellesmere area using our specialist animal rescue team & water first responders.

Two fire engines were mobilised from Ellesmere.
An operations officer was in attendance.
The stop message was received at 10:25.
