A FIRE in Wem was started deliberately officials have revealed.
Two crews from the town were called to a property in Barnard Street on Thursday (May 12) afternoon after a garage was on fire.
But they revealed later via Twitter that the incident, which was at a property in Grove Court, was started deliberately when a quantity of wood was set alight.
They said: "Small fire in a garage which unfortunately was started deliberately.
"If you have any information regarding the incident please contact [West Mercia Police]."
A crew from Prees Fire Station were also in attendance, along with an operations officer.

Buckets of water were used to put out the fire and the stop call was received at 4.33pm.
