A WHITCHURCH motorist has been landed with a hefty fine after they failed reveal the identity of a driver accused of an offence.
Mark Gurney Berrett was accused of breaking the speed limit while driving an Audi TT on the A386 Alma Road – a 30mph zone – in Plymouth, on September 16, last year.
That offence was later withdrawn.

But the 57-year-old, of Higher Heath, was found guilty of failing to reveal the ID of the driver of the Audi to Devon and Cornwall Police on October 26, last last year.
At Bodmin Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 10, Berrett was fined £660 and received six penalty points.
He must also pay £90 court costs and £66 victim surcharge.
