ONE person had to be released from an overturned vehicle as firefighters from Wem were joined by colleagues from across the county to attend a road traffic collision (RTC) on Saturday evening.
One crew from the town was joined by firefighters in Hodnet and Wellington to attend the RTC at Weston, outside Wem, shortly before 7.45pm on Saturday.
Cutters and spreaders were used to release the person from the car, which overturned into a field and was then handed into the care of ambulance staff.
Police also attended the scene, with the stop notice sent by crews there shortly after 8.30pm.
