A BOMB disposal team has been called out to a Shropshire location after reports of a suspicious device.
Bomb disposal experts are expected on site at the Fourways Junction in Hinstock, between Whitchurch and Newport, after reports of a suspicious device.
West Mercia Police has confirmed that experts are expected on site and that people are being urged to avoid the area.
They said "Officers are in attendance at Fourways Junction in Hinstock, Shropshire dealing with a suspect explosive.
"Bomb disposal experts from Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) have been informed and will arrive at the site shortly.
"A 100m cordon has been put in place around the junction in Narrow Lane in Hatton and people are being asked to avoid the area and seek alternative routes."
Officers have confirmed that road closures are in place from near Pennills Scrap Yard in In Hinstock to Narrow Lane in Childs Ercall.
