WEM Spring Market is coming back this month and will be held on the upcoming St George's Day.
The market is run by Wem Combine Harvesters and it will run from 9am to 1pm in Wem Town Hall, Wem Youth Club and in the Jubilee Square.
Shelagh Richardson said there will be 50 stalls with different products and live music and entertainment at the event on April 23.
She added: "Traders will be offering a wide range of goods including food, drink, crafts and plants.
"Charities and local organisations will be present, such as Eckford Sweet Pea, Blood Cancer UK, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Shropshire Wildlife Trust and the Woodland Trust.
"Musicians from Wem Jubilee Band will be performing on Jubilee Square and outside Wem Youth Club from 11am to 1pm.
"Josemaya’s Café will be selling refreshments so that shoppers can relax, eat and listen to the band.
"Wem’s Dragon returns with her companion, St. George.
"There is a photographic competition for the Under 16s for the best image of the Dragon on Market Day. Entry forms will be available from Wem Civic Society (Town Hall) or Wem Garden Club (Youth Club) stalls.
"Numerous prizes to be won at the Combine Harvesters’ Tombola in the town hall.
"Beneficiaries will include the Lychgate Appeal and Wem Carers group."
The mayor of Wem, Peter Broomhall will be touring the market.
