FIREFIGHTERS in Wem have appealed for information after a tree blaze was started deliberately.
Crews from the town attended the incident in Drawwell Lane just after 8pm on Thursday (April 14).
The fire involved conifer trees.
A Tweet put out by the station said: "Fire extinguished using two hose reel jets.
"Unfortunately this fire has been started deliberately. If you have any information please contact @WMerciaPolice."

The stop message came in after 40 minutes.
