SHROPSHIRE firefighters were on hand to help ensure a car was in a safe condition in Whitchurch on Wednesday night.
One crew from the town arrived at the scene in Tilstock Road around 8.40pm after a small fire in an engine compartment from an oil leak.
However, the fire was already out as the firefighters arrived and they spent around 15 minutes making it safe before sending the stop signal.
