A NORTH Shropshire road was closed by police after a collision on Tuesday morning (March 22).
North Shropshire Cops confirmed via their Twitter page that the A41 at Mill Green towards Newport was closed at around 11am.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Police were called at 10.35am this morning following a collision on the A41 just north of Hinstock, at the Mill Green Crossroads.
"The collision involved a car and a van.
"A telegraph pole was also knocked over."
An ambulance and paramedics attended the scene.
Two women and a teenage girl were assessed by crews but did nor require hospital treatment and were discharged at the scene.
The road has now reopened
