WEST Mercia Police has announced that a mobile station will be operating in Whitchurch.

Officers from the Whitchurch Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) will be in the mobile police stations from Wednesday, March 2 to Friday, March 4.

It is hoped people will come and speak to them about issues concerning them, and will be based at different locations on each day.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "On Wednesday, March 2, officers from Whitchurch Safer Neighbourhood Teams will be at Ash Village Hall from 1pm until 3pm.

"Whitchurch SNTs will be at Whitchurch Swimming Centre car park from 2pm until 3.30pm and on Friday, March 4 the mobile police they will be at Tilstock Bradbury Centre from 4pm until 6pm.

"Please pop along and speak to the team if you have any concerns."

The mobile police stations were first introduced by West Mercia Police to Shropshire in 2013.
