RESURFACING roadworks in Whitchurch have been completed ahead of schedule.
Shropshire Council teams have been worked on the A41 between Chester Road Island and the A525 Wrexham Road Island.
It had been due to take place between January 10 and 24, but was completed in six nights.
The unitary authority took to Twitter to say: "Good news! Resurfacing work on the the A41 Whitchurch bypass, from Chester Rd Island to A525 Wrexham Rd Island has been completed – a week ahead of schedule.
"Work was programmed to be carried out from 10 to 24 January, but was completed within six nights."
