A VEHICLE fire in Whitchurch saw two crews of firefighters called out to tackle the blaze.
Shropshire Fire crews from Prees and Wem were sent to Black Park, in Whitchurch, shortly before 2pm on Wednesday, after a report of light goods vehicle (LGV) – an agricultural trailer – on fire.
They used a hosereel jet and a thermal imaging camera to put out the fire and ensure that it was completely extinguished, while also needing to use a short extension ladder.
Firefighters left the scene 50 minutes later.
