A main road near Whitchurch will reopen tomorrow after work to repair a burst water main was completed.
The main on the A41 at Prees Heath dual carriageway, just off the roundabout with the A49, burst on Wednesday, January 5, leading to the closure of the northbound carriageway from Prees Heath Roundabout.
An emergency signed diversion was put in place heading from Prees Heath Roundabout southeast towards Tern Hill, from the A53 from Tern Hill Roundabout to Gingerbread Man Roundabout, to the A529 to Audlem, and onto the A525 back to Whitchurch.
Now Shropshire Council has announced work on the section has been completed.
The burst water main was repaired, and the road resurfacing was completed.
The northbound section will reopen tomorrow morning when the new road surface is safe to drive on.
