THE organisers of a popular Christmas tractor run from Ellesmere have thanked all those who came out to support it.
The tractor run ran from the town to St Martins, raising hundreds of pounds for the Midlands Air Ambulance in the process, and gave all a festive feeling too.
Diane Rodenhurst took to social media to thank all those that took part, but also contributed to a special day.
She said: "Just to say a big thank you to all.
"We had more than 40 tractors, young and old, male and female drivers, who really got into the spirit.
"We raised over £300 for the Air Ambulance.
"It was brilliant to see so many folks in the villages, waving them on.
"Thank you, again.
"Also, thanks must go to The Black Lion Hotel Ellesmere, for handing vouchers to the tractor drivers.
"It was a nice touch and appreciated – thank you very much."
Commenters thank Diane and the tractor run for putting on a great show for the town and villages around the area.
Wendy Salter said: "We waved them through Dudleston Heath - they made it feel like Christmas."
