RESIDENTS in Wem are being reminded that the main work to remove a bridge on a temporarily closed road takes place over the Christmas period.
Network Rail confirmed Mill Street will be remain closed underneath the railway bridge with a diversion in place.
The project to replace the railway bridge will cost £2.9 million.
The road work will begin on Christmas Eve and be lifted on Wednesday, December 29.
