The road has been closed in between Whitchurch and Horseman's Green.
North Wales Police have confirmed there has been a road closure following an accident outside Whitchurch.
The accident has taken place on the A525 and police are advising motorists to find a different route.
They said: "There has been an accident on the A525 at the junction with the A539 between Horeseman's Green and Whitchurch.
"Please find an alternative route."
