STORM Arwen is continuing to hit the region with major roads facing closure as well as power cuts.
West Mercia Police's North Shropshire Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) has urged people to be safe when out driving in the area.
They said: "Due to the weather and so many trees blocking roads we would advise against travel.
"Too many roads closed to name surrounding Whitchurch Wem Market Drayton Ellesmere take care should you have to drive.
"Please report fallen trees to your local highways department."
Meanwhile, the A41 northbound towards Whitchurch at Tern Hill is closed because of a trapped bus.
The area has seen power cuts across north Shropshire but SP Energy says it is slowly restoring power to the area but currently, much of the area is still without power.
