Union Jacks along with Poppy displays have been put up in Green End and along Whitchurch High Street. Lovely to see in time for Remembrance Sunday.

However many of these Union Flags are being flown upside down.

Several people have noticed but despite my best efforts nobody is willing to take responsibility and put them right.

I am like many others in Whitchurch, ex-services, and feel things should be done correctly to honour the fallen of current and previous generations.

The thick white line should be at the top of the flag pole not the thin white line.
