A LUXURY hotel spa on Chester's outskirts has secured a hat-trick of award wins.

The Spa at Carden, on the Carden Park Estate, Broxton Road, Chester, is delighted to secure the awards, having reopened this spring and following all the challenges of launching in January 2020, just before the onset of the pandemic.

The awards won were:

  • Professional beauty – Large Spa of the year 2021
  • World Luxury Spa awards – Luxury Destination Spa 2021
  • World Spa awards – Best Country House Hotel Spa 2021

The Spa at Carden launched in January 2020 after a £10 million investment, offering a 4,500 sqm standalone space, making it one of the UK’s largest spa gardens.

Developed to provide guests with a ‘nature reset’ whatever the weather, the extensive garden’s next generation features facilitate a journey to improved physical and mental well-being. Carden Park Estate is continuing to invest in the facilities at Spa at Carden and will have more ambitious plans for 2022.

Carden Park’s general manager, Hamish Ferguson, said: “We’re delighted to announce this trio of award wins and it is a testament to the hard work and continued innovation from our Spa team that the Spa at Carden has continued to go from strength to strength.

"Throughout the closure of the hotel during lockdown, we worked hard to improve our offering across all our facilities, meaning there is always something new for everyone to come back for, even our most regular visitors. We will continue to invest in Carden Park resort and we will reveal our new plans soon.”
