Malpas Flower Club have picked a side in the War of the Roses, after hearing a talk all about the flora of Lancashire.
At the club's October meeting, members welcomed Linda Hardman from Goosnargh, with her talk titled ‘Love Lancashire’.
June Davies, from the club, said members enjoyed the talk and were amazed at the variety of flowers on display.
She said: "The arrangements were all about [Linda's] love of Lancashire, ending with a title ‘from Lancashire with love’.
"She was a florist and our chairman Janet Blake said she had never seen so many different varieties of flowers.
"She was very entertaining and everyone enjoyed the afternoon.
"Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month in the Jubilee Hall and visitors are always welcome."
