WORK is underway to restore power in Bangor-on-Dee this morning.
There is a power cut in the LL13 postcode area of Bangor-on-Dee, affecting properties in Whitchurch Road, Overton Road, Abbey Gardens, and surrounding streets.
Repairs are taking longer than expected and the power is expected to be back on by 11am.
The repair time was later updated to 1pm.
In an update at 8.10am, ScottishPower Energy Networks said: "Our emergency response team has managed to restore power to a number of properties, and we are working to restore power for those customers still without power. Repairs are taking longer than expected due to ongoing investigations into the cause of the fault and our team are now working to get the power back on as quickly and as safely as possible by 11:00AM.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
