A MAN from Whitchurch has been found guilty of breaking the speed limit on the M1.
Brian Yearsley, of Mare Close, was travelling at 55mph between Junctions 18 and 17 southbound, which had been reduced to 40mph on the morning of February 27, this year.
Northampton Magistrates' Court heard the 62-year-old was clocked by an automatic camera device during a hearing on Tuesday, October 5.
Yearsley received three penalty points and was fined £220.
He must also pay £90 court costs and a £34 victim surcharge, totalling £344.
