AN AWARD-winning artist will be displaying their artwork in an exclusive exhibition in Malpas this month.

Minimalist artist Sarah Webb will see her work featured at the Lion at Malpas over two days, from Friday, October 15 to Saturday, October 16.

Specialising in fine art that uses minimal palettes, Webb has a large following in both the UK and internationally, with some attendees even flying from overseas to view her Malpas exhbition.

Her new work is a collection created uniquely for Cheshire, focusing on racing, shooting, hunting and field sports, in keeping with Cheshire’s rich history of rural traditions.

The VIP exhibition on Friday will be an invite-only event, while Saturday’s showing is open to the public.

The event take place in The Lion’s Brereton Suite, a self-contained room perfect for events, shows, business dinners and more.

One of Webb’s original oil on canvas pieces, ‘Sheep on Snowy Wolds,’ valued at £1,850, is currently being offered as a prize in a raffle draw at The Lion, with all proceeds going to Tarporley War Memorial Hospital. Tickets are £5 each.
