THIS weekend's Blackberry Fair-backed day of music has been moved indoors with poor weather set to strike.

The fair has been holding an art trail throughout Whitchurch over the last two weekends, with the event culminating in a folk and rock music.

This was scheduled to take place at the bandstand in Jubilee Park, but poor weather over the last few days has forced the organisers to take the show inside.

Steve Chapman, one of the event's organisers, says people should now head to the Civic Centre from 10.30am to enjoy the live music.

He said: "Blackberry's going back to our roots, weather for the weekend is typically autumn with rain and wind blowing in.

"So rather than get soaked in Jubilee Park we're picking up the party with all its colour and heading back to where it all started in the town's market hall.

"We knew how to party back in 2008 and we'll do it again in 2021.

"Join us from 10.30am onwards this Saturday for a wonderful musical end to Blackberry Fair's Hope from the wild art trail.

"Accompanied by the Magic Dragon Ale Bar, Fabio's Street Food, Oakfarm Icecream, From'De'Shed Pancakes, kids workshops and lots of fabulous live music, what more do we want.

"The emeritus Dr Bramble and his maker of positive vibes awaits your company.

"The entrance to the gig will be up St Mary's Street via the Civic Centre rear car park.

"See you all on Saturday."
