DRUGS, cash and cars have all been seized by West Mercia Police following a county lines operation across north Shropshire this week.
On Wednesday, police officers visited addresses in Oswestry, Market Drayton and Shrewsbury as part of the operation, which also saw 12 arrests made.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said the operation served to disrupt the supply of drugs to north Shropshire.
They said: "Officers from West Mercia Police joined forces with colleagues from Merseyside Police in an operation designed to tackle county lines drug dealing as part of our commitment to tackle serious an organised crime under the protect campaign.
"The operation focussed in Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Market Drayton.
"A total of 12 arrests were made for a range of drug related offences.
"In addition a number of vulnerable premises were visited, over 20 stop searches were completed, £1545 cash, five vehicles, Class A and B drugs, mobile phones and other drugs paraphernalia were also seized.
"Shropshire Police will continue to work in partnership to strengthen our response to disrupt their drugs supply, arrest offenders and safeguard those who are most vulnerable.
