FIREFIGHTERS were called to Ellesmere late on Wednesday after reports of a fire involving a large tree.
Shropshire Fire & Rescue Service was called to a fire in the open at Birch Road at 10.31pm.
One fire engine from Ellesmere attended the incident, and used one hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.
The crew spent around an hour at the scene.
