PLANS have been approved to construct a detached double garage and workshop at a farm in a village near Ellesmere.
The plans for the garage at Tower Farm in Lyneal were approved by Shropshire Council’s Planning Committee earlier this month.
In her report, case officer Janet Davies said the plans were in keeping with the local area and recommended they be approved.
She said: “The proposal is deemed to be acceptable in its siting, scale, design and materials and are there are deemed to be no significant implications for residential amenity.
“The application is therefore recommended for approval in accordance with development plan policies and the National Planning Policy Framework.”
Welshampton and Lyneal Parish Council also approved of the plans.
A spokesman for the parish council said: “At the meeting of Welshampton and Lyneal Parish Council held on August 11, it was resolved to support the application.”
