AN APPEAL has been made for people to come forward with information following the theft of a mobility scooter in Whitchurch.
The scooter was parked in St Mary's Street on Monday, September 20 when it was stolen, some time after 11am.
Hannah Lister, PSCO for Whitchurch Safer Neighbourhood Team, urged anyone with information to come forward.
She said: "Whitchurch SNT is appealing for information after a theft of a mobility scooter in St Mary's Street in Whitchurch.
"The mobility scooter is black, has a basket on the front and only one wing mirror.
"Someone has now lost their independence and we urge anyone with information to come forward.
"Last seen September 20 at 11am.
"Please contact us with any information quoting reference number 00310_I_20092021."
